5 TRENDS YOU WILL WANT TO WEAR THIS SUMMER

Is there anything better than feeling summer arrive after months of cold weather? Light, fresh, colorful looks... I'm biased, because I love the feeling of taking summer clothes out of the closet, trying out new combinations and, of course, I'm always anxious to find out what's going to be hot this season.

I've selected 5 trends from the Spring/Summer 2025 collections that are super easy to translate beyond the runways:

1. Off White

"Corrective" white can take a vacation, off-white is the neutral of the moment. Sophisticated, light and elegant, it appears in fluid tailoring, long dresses and monochromatic looks.

2. Puff sleeves

Puffed sleeves are still going strong. They've been around for a while now, but they still add volume, femininity and, depending on how you balance the rest of your look , even a touch of drama.

3. No Pants

I could write a whole post about this trend! From the mini skirt (which came back with a vengeance with the Y2K boom in 2022) to the micro shorts. No pants have evolved and are now flirting with the sports world, with references to swimwear — such as trunks, swimsuits and hot pants.

Miu Miu presented this look in its Fall/Winter 2023 collection. The result? A youthful, bold and super modern look. Yes, it demands confidence but it is also a great way to play with proportions and show that sometimes less is more .

4. Sheer

Transparency always makes an appearance in the summer, the difference is in how it is presented.

This year, transparency comes in plain fabrics, without prints, and in long or well-fitted pieces — like tulle dresses, blouses with visible lingerie. Sexy, but sophisticated.

5. One Shoulder

I love asymmetrical cuts, especially those with just one strap. Tops, dresses and even beachwear pieces with just one shoulder add a modern and feminine touch. It's just the right amount of sexy and works really well for summer events, parties, or even with jeans and flip-flops.
